Question:
I was wondering if EZ-lubeinch spindles have an inherent weakness because of the grease channel?

Hi Stephen,
As long you're performing proper maintenance to your trailer and your grease cap is on the EZ-lube grease zerk spindle # TRU74FR should last longer than a standard spindle. The fitting could allow for contaminates to get inside the spindle but that's where regular maintenance and the grease cap can prevent issues from forming.
