Is Depth of Hitch Tube for Class I Hitch Needed for Using Accessories

What is the hitch pin hole depth and receiver depth from the hitch pin hole to the backstop for draw-tite 24963?

Hey Samuel, so the Draw Tite hitch part # 24963 has a hitch tube depth that would be deeper than what any hitch accessory designed for it would need but what I think you are asking about is the little weld stop that's in Class I hitches like this that prevent Class II accessories from fitting and you are trying to make sure your accessory will fit.
So Class I accessories have a little notch in their shank to allow them to fit but Class II do not which is why they stop short. So if the accessory you have is Class I compatible it will work great but otherwise it will not and there's no way to make it work.

Just so we are on the same page. I am planning to get the Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT hitch bike rack. It requires a hitch pin hole depth of 1.5" and a receiver depth of 1.5". Will the Draw-Tite 24963 or the Curt C11486 hitches work for this?
