Is Backing Up The Same as Sharp Turn Going Forward With Friction Sway Control Weight Distribution
Question:
If you have to disengage a friction sway bar to back around a corner or into a camping spot, then isnt that the same if making a sharp turn into a driveway? Except going forward?

Hi Monty,
No, backing up is not the same as going forward and making a sharp turn with a friction system like the Curt MV Weight Distribution System w/ Friction Sway Control # C17062.
There is a different tension on a different spot on the friction bar when reversing, so it's basically pushing on the ball on the frame, and could damage it. But you don't want to make a particularly sharp turn either as the bar has limited movement.
