Appearance of Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver When Mounted on 2014 Mazda CX-9
Question:
I want to purchase a class III trailer hitch to mount on a 2014 Mazda CX-9. Do you have any photos of what the hitch would look like mounted on a 2014 CX-9? Thanks.

We offer three different brands of Class III hitches for your 2014 Mazda CX-9. All can be seen on the link provided. All have 2-inch receiver openings and all are rated equally at 400-lbs maximum tongue weight and 4000-lbs maximum trailer weight, but note that the Curt hitch # 13575 is not suitable for use with trailer weight distribution systems. Unless you plan to use weight distribution I suggest the Curt hitch # 13575 since it is the most cost-effective of the three.
All of these hitch receivers will mount to the same location on the frame and all three hitches' receiver tubes will sit at essentially the exact same position under the bumper. Please refer to the linked video and the photo that shows Hidden Hitch # 87438 installed on a CX-9. The only differences in the appearances of the three hitches will be that the Curt uses a square tube while the others use a round tube for the main cross member.
I have also linked two articles with helpful hitch installation tips.
