Hello Matthew. It is odd that you would be having problems with both vents simultaneously. Generally, when these vents are not functioning properly, or will not respond to controls it is an indicator that your control board in malfunctioning and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, we do not offer a replacement for the Northern Breese model, so I would have to recommend replacing the vent entirely with something like the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2094SP-34.
