Where to Measure On Spindle for Replacement Bearings

Good morning, I smoked a bearing on my boat trailer today. How do I measure the spindle to get a replacement?

Sorry to hear about that John! But you will need to use a digital caliper # PTW80157 to measure the diameter on the spindle where the bearings ride shown in the attached picture for a replacement.

6 - My inner seal seems to be 2 1/4 x 3 3/8. 2- Rear bearing diameter 1 3/4 (25580) 2- Front bearing 1 1/4 (no number) 1- Hub is 6 on 5 1/2 12in truride ( 20110317) 1- Break 023-458-00 left hand 939410181 1- castle nut and (1 in thread diameter) 2 -cotter pins 1- washer Rfq, please quote the list above. If a prepacked hub makes sense advise. Trailer is 15k (5200 per )triple Rockwell axels. Electric breaks. This is a boat trailer used in fresh water. Regards
