My Atwood Propane Alarm Keeps Going Off - How Do I Turn It Off?
Question:
Hello, the Atwood CO/Propane alarm on this RV keeps going off. Its direct wired and has no visible one-off button. I turned off the tanks. I think the alarm may be ready for replacement. Any idea how to turn it off?

Hello there Mike. There should be a reset/test button on your Atwood propane alarm. Pushing this button will reset the alarm and stop it from going off. If the alarm keeps going off it is either detecting gas, or it is in need of replacement. It sounds like it is still going off with the gas off so this would lead me to assume that it is in need of replacement. For a new detector I suggest the following:
- Atwood RV Carbon Monoxide and Propane Gas Detector - 12 Volt - White # AT36681
