Availability Of Foot Pad/Boot For The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps

Question:

RE: The MORryde StepAbove Strut Assist Fold-Down 4-Step Does MORryde make a rubber cap/boot that fits on the bottom of the feet of the steps? Kind of like the Jake Pads for the camper feet that would just snap on permanently.

Hello Janet. That is actually a really good idea for a product. Unfortunately, MOrryde does not make any kind of rubber boot or cap to go on the feet of the steps. The idea is to protect the foot, keep them from getting scratched and increase friction, right?

I feel like coming up with your own rubberized protector would not be too hard. I have seen rubberized tape like "flex tape" at stores. I would cut a piece of that to fit the bottom and/or sides of the foot. This way the foot will be covered and protected. It could also be removed and re-applied fairly easily. You could also potentially spray the feet with a rubberized paint. Since no product exists specifically for this purpose, coming up with your own solution will be the only option.
