Troubleshooting No Power on Right Turn Signal and Brake Output At 7-Way

Question:

2021 tundra, no right turn signal at 7pin. no trailer brake power at 7 pin. any idea what I need . fuses are all good. left side works fine. truck tail lights work fine just the trailer 7 pin conecter. Thanks

First, make sure there is no corrosion present or damage on the 7-way connector. After that, make sure your ground connection is secure. Assuming it is, all you can really do is work your way back while testing for power and check for a short in the wiring. Start by checking the wires right before they enter the trailer connector. If you have power here it could be that the wires came loose inside the connector itself. If you need to replace the connector you can use the # HM40975.
