Protector To Reduce Damage From Trailer Rolling Into Bumper When Connecting and Disconnecting
Question:
We recently bought a trailer hitch from you-so we are customers! I want to protect my RAV4 from damage from the trailer tongue when loading and unloading the trailer. I have a small fishing boat so engaging the trailer is done by hand. In our previous car it was hard to keep the trailer from rolling into the bumper which caused scratches in the bumper. There is a Pinterest site showing a guard that bolts between the ball and the hitch. S Do you no longer sell this part? Maybe it creates an unacceptable pinch point? Thanks

While we do not have a Trailer Hitch Bumper Protector like you found on Pinterest, we do have the "Bump Me" Trailer Coupler Vehicle Cushion # DL13352 which may solve your problem. This mounts to the trailer rather than between the ball mount and hitch ball like the one you found. The cushion we have fits onto the lip of a coupler.
