Blue Ox Base Plate Kit that Fits 2008 Hummer H33
Question:
Looking for a blue ox base plate for a 2008 Hummer h3. Base edition. Is the correct part number bx4104? Also looking for a wiring kit for that same vehicle. Do they make one that plugs into the factory wiring? This will be towed behind my RV. So that is the type of wiring kit I’m looking for. Thank you for your time.

Hey Jeff, yes the Blue Ox base plate kit part # BX4104 is the correct fit for your 2008 Hummer H3.
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV. We do not have a custom fit option that would plug into vehicle wiring without splicing.
