Replacement Air Conditioner For Coleman MACH 15

Question:

Hi, I have a Coleman Mach 48254C869 air conditioner from 2016 that is discontinued but equivalent to the Mach 15 they currently offer. This is a 15000 BTU unit but it cannot keep up in the summer. Have tried everything and are looking to possibly replace it. I was looking at the website and found that the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup - 15,000 Btu - Black Item FR32PV is a replacement for it. I have a couple questions 1. Is it necessary to have a direct replacement unit? 2. What is the difference between the unit and a complete system. 3. Is this unit a good unit to consider, the current one is pretty loud and doesnt seem to push air very well through the ducts. 4. Could you recommend any other models? 5. Is there a Air Conditioner / Heat Unit that might also work? Thank you for your help Derek

The Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR32PV will replace your current Coleman MACH ac. It includes the necessary wiring and hardware to secure in place of the rooftop unit. This is necessary otherwise it would not run correctly.

By just replacing the single unit and not the entire system it saves you the additional cost of the parts.

The Furrion units are a great option as we have found them to be quieter and cool more efficiently than many other brands.

This would be the brand I recommend above the others.

If you wanted to add heat to the unit you would either need to find a heat strip compatible with your Coleman setup or look at an entire replacement Furrion System # FR23PV and Heat Strip # FR27PR
