Availability Of 4-Pin Wiring Harness For A 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI

Question:

I am hiving great difficulty finding a 4 pin trailer wiring harness for my W211 2005 Mercedes Benz E320 CDI. I was going to use the generic one, but cant find a constant signal on which wires are for turn signal and which one for brake light. if you sell a plug and play version, please let me know. I saw the 2014 W212 kit assembly but nothing for mine. Thanks for all you do, Robert

Hello Robert. Unfortunately, we do not have a plug and play wiring harness for a 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI. We can offer you a universal harness like the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. In order to use this you would have to find wires that have the constant signals.

Have you tried contacting a Mercedes-Benz dealership? They may be able to provide more information on wiring solutions. I do wish I had more useful info for you, these vehicles are not as common on the roads these days so there are not a lot of parts available.

@RobertF I do feel like the correct wires have to be there somewhere. If I were you, I would go in behind the taillights with a tester like part # PTW2992 and just check each wire until you find the signal you are looking for.
