Can Thule Top Tracks Be Installed On A 2024 Chevy Trax

Question:

Can I install Thule THTP54 on my 2024 Chevy TRAX with sun roof. It has no existing rails and I have Yakima Anchor A plates from a previous Chevy. I am worried about drilling in an inappropriate location Ribs, air bag, wires. Thanks, Bill

Hey Bill,

The Thule Top Tracks for Roof Racks # THTP54 is a universal fit so you would be able to install it on your 2024 Chevy Trax, but you'll still have to drill into the roof to install the rivnuts. The roof will also need to be fairly straight/flat otherwise the tracks aren't going to sit flat and want to install. I would see how flat the roof is with an I-beam level. that's close to 54" to see if the tracks are going to work. The intended design is on a camper shell or pop up camper roof, which would typically be flat.
