For a wiring kit for your 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 I would recommend the Curt Wiring Harness part # C55504. This harness plugs inline with your truck's taillights to provide you with a fully functional 4-way.

Basically, you would just need to unplug your taillight harnesses, plug the harness into the connector of the # C55504 and then plug the other end of the harness into the taillight assembly. Check out the installation instructions I attached for this product as well.
