Comparing Curt Trailer Hitches for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler

The hitches appear to be exactly the same? Is there some difference? Which should I choose?

You are correct, the # 9883544 was the same hitch as the Curt # 13432. There was a special promotion on trailer hitch # 9883544 for your 2012 Jeep Wrangler. The # 9883544 is no longer available. I have also linked a video showing installation of the Curt # 13432 for you.
If you plan on doing some towing, I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
For trailer wiring you can use # 118416. I have linked the instructions and a video for the wiring as well.
