According to the owners manual for your 2009 Scion xD it can only be flat towed with all 4 wheels on the ground if you have a manual transmission. You can dolly tow with either an automatic or manual transmission. So a Tow Dolly # RM-2050-1 is likely going to be what you want. If you have a manual transmission and want to tow all 4 wheels on the ground please let me know and I can list the parts you will need. That install is likely going to require you to go to a local shop to have everything installed as it can be a complicated install since it involves removing some of the vehicle fascia and splicing into the vehicle wiring.

@Sally So we carry 3 different tow dollies currently and they are mostly the same but have unique features. The Roadmaster # RM-2050-1 tends to be the more popular because it is priced much lower. It has electric brakes which will require a Brake Controller # 90195 installed in the tow vehicle if you do not already have one. Next we have the Demco Kar Kaddy X # DM9713093 which has surge style brakes so you would not need the controller. Finally the Demco Kar Kaddy SS # DM9713045 which is very popular because it can fold up so that it is more easily stored when not in use. You can go to the item pages for more information and to see the videos we have using these with dollies at our shop.
