Troubleshooting Blown Fuse for T-One Trailer Wiring on a 2021 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I keep blowing the fuse at the battery. I checked the black wire and found a break but fixed it. Still blowing fuses. I am using a 10amp fuse. Am I missing something?

Hey Mike!
It sounds like you've got a wiring harness like the Tekonsha T-One # 118786 installed on your 2021 Jeep Wrangler. This uses a 15 amp fuse which may be why you're still blowing fuses since you're using 10 amps instead.
Try using the 15 amp rated fuse and if that blows as well it means you have a bad ground connection somewhere, whether that's the ring terminal on the white wire (which needs to be connected to a clean, bare metal surface) or you have some other wiring that's damaged and touching metal somewhere.
