Will Kuat Transfer Interfere With Blind Spot Monitoring on 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC300
Question:
I would like to put a Kuat Transfer on my 2022 GLC300. I realize that this will affect the backup sensors. Thats OK, but I worry that a mounted bike will trigger the blind spot sensors on the rear sides of the car. Have you encountered this as a problem?

The Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # KU84FR will likely interfere with the blind spot monitoring on your 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC300. The same is true for any hitch mounted bike rack. The sensors are located behind the rear bumper so they will probably pick up the bikes on and off while driving making the system unreliable. There really isn't a way around it unless you want to add a roof rack and use a bike rack like the Thule UpRide # TH599000.
