Recommended Rooftop Cargo Bag for Crossbars on a 2019 Toyota RAV4

Question:

Hi - Im looking for a rooftop cargo bag for my 2019 Toyota RAV. I have factory installed roof rack with cross bars. Comparing this Rhino Bag vs some of the Thules. I like the price point of the Rhino, but Im wondering if this is really only recommended if I have a cargo tray on the roof.

Bruce, the straps on the Rhino-Rack Rooftop Cargo Bag # RRLB350 are really only long enough to go around the bars on a platform rack so it's not going to work with your regular cross bars.

Instead, I'd recommend going with the Rightline Gear Ace 2 Rooftop Cargo Bag # RL100A20 which is pretty similar to the Rhino-Rack cargo bag, much easier on the wallet, and can be mounted directly to your crossbars with the longer straps.
