The best upgraded equalizer for your 1965 Avion Holiday is the one that matches your current equalizer measurements. This may be an Equa-Flex or it may be another brand. The most important measurement is the distance between left and right bolt holes on center.
For example, the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279688 measure 7-1/2" left to right. If this matches your current measurements then this would be the best choice. The same measurement on the Dexter # K71-652-00 is 5-3/4" so if that matches your current equalizer you would want these instead. You don't be able to tell a difference between the designs so it is best to keep the suspension geometry the same.
While you're at it I would go ahead and upgrade to wet bolts and heavy duty shackle straps if you don't already have them. The Dexter E-Z Flex comes with 2-1/4" shackle straps already but they can be added separately to other equalizers. While you're measuring the equalizer you can measure the shackles from center hole to center hole. If you need 2-1/4" you can use the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR46ZR. For 3-1/8" you would need the # MR76ZR instead.
I have attached some installation videos below for your reference. If you get your measurements and you aren't sure what the best option would be feel free to leave a comment below and I'll help you find what you need.
