Hub Needed to Swap 3,500 lb Dexter Axle from 6 Lug to 5 on 4-1/2 inch Bolt Pattern
Question:
Hello, I’m trying to change my dexter 6 lug hydraulic brakes on a 3500lb axle to 5x4.5 to fit different wheels. There is stamps on the existing drum/hub assembly that read “94000” “QRG” “0450” “G3” and on the hydraulic assembly there is a stamp that says “36-94”. Is there a replacement drum to change it to 5x4.5”?

Hey Brent, since your trailer has 3,500 lb axles all you need to convert from the 6 lug bolt pattern to the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern is swap the hubs to the part # AKHD-545-35-G-EZ-K. This hub is also pre-greased so shes ready to slap on and go.
