Parts Needed to Install a Tekonsha P2 Trailer Brake Controller on a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500
Question:
Im looking to replace my trailer brake controller on my truck with a Prodigy. What would you recommend? My truck is a Dodge Ram 3500 with a Cummins 6.7 Liter Diesel with dual Wheels. My Trailer is a 2012 Forest River Sandpiper Model 365SAQ. 41-9inch long, dual axels, electric brakes and a weight of 14,500 pounds. Thanks

The Tekonsha P2, # 90885, is an excellent brake controller. It is easy to set up and use, and it is reliable. To install it on your 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 you will need the brake controller itself and wiring harness # 3020-P if the truck has a factory installed 7-Way trailer connector. I am assuming it does since you mentioned you are replacing a brake controller.
I have included a link to a help article on installing a brake controller on your truck. I have also linked a video showing an installation for you.
