I have a Dexter 10000 lb axle on my trailer. The spindle nut got cross threaded. I need to know the tap and die size to rethread the first the turns on the axle spindle

The Spindle Nut # 6-96 used on the 10K Dexter axle is 1-1/2" in diameter and has 12 threads per inch.
