Availability Of Replacement Torsion Axle, Brakes And Hubs For A 2002 Eagle Trailer

Question:

Have a 2002 Eagle Trailer 5000 lb capacity twin axle. One is a torsion axle with hydraulic brakes. Must replace torsion axle as spindle on left hub is worn out and is welded into the control arm. Where can I get a replacement including hub and brakes?

Hello Eric. We certainly should have hubs and brakes that you can use on your 2002 Eagle Trailer, but we do not carry any torsion axles here. We currently only deal with leaf spring axles, which do use the same hubs and brakes as the torsion axles. If you can tell me the weight capacity of the axle, I am happy to recommend parts for you. We would also need you to confirm the bearing sizes for your axle so we can make sure to get you the exact right parts.

For example the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit # DE66YR is one we recommend often for the 3,500 lb axles. It uses the # L68149 inner and # L44649 outer bearing which is standard. If this is not exactly what you have, feel free to send me some specs and I will see what we can offer you.
