Recommended Brake Controller for a 2024 Subaru Ascent

I have a 2024 Subaru Ascent and am planning on purchasing the Tekonsha 90160 brake controller and would like to know if there is a specific plug and play wiring adapter that will work with my car. I do not want to hard wire if possible. Thank you.

Hey Sue I went ahead and checked, and it does not look like there is a plug and play wiring adapter for your 2024 Subaru Ascent unfortunately.

It looks like in order to use the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 you're going to have to use the included universal wiring harness.

You could also use the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180 which plugs into your factory 7 way, so it wouldn't require any splicing or cutting into your wiring.
