Are there Any Adapters to Use a 7 Pin Flat With a 7 Pin Round

Question:

I frequently need to move different enclosed and RV trailers that have the flat 7 pin connector with a rented semi tractor standard round 7 pin. Is there an adapter available that doesnt require changing the wiring on the tractor?

Jeff, I've actually never heard of a 7 pin flat connector before. I did some digging around and they look pretty obsolete, so I'd honestly just recommend converting the 7 pin flat on your tractor to a traditional 7 way round.

Everything will remain the same, and you'll still have brakes and all that good stuff but you won't have to worry about needing any weird adapters.

It does sound like you deal with these connectors often though, so I can understand not wanting to swap every single 7 flat with a 7 round.

If you do decide that you want to go ahead and make that change, # A7WCB is what you'd need.

I think you missed the part where the tractor is a rental, I cannot modify the tractor. The trailers I need to move have different connectors, but mostly the standard round connector. Is there an adapter that plugs into a standard tractor pigtail that allows plugging into a standard round rv connector?

@Jeff There is not Jeff, which is why you'd have to swap the connectors out. Seeing as though these are all rentals and you can't modify them we don't have anything you can use.
