Question:
I have a Leisure travel 2011 free flight 30 amp class b rv.with a parallax 7345 converter. It also has an onan generator. I’m adding a 230 amp lithium battery with a 2000 watt inverter. I am planning to update the converter to fully charge the battery but need to know if I will need to add an additional transfer switch. Can you assist me please.

Hey John, you'd need a new panel like the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini part # PD4045KA which is the most similar to your Parallax 7345 except is Lithium battery compatible.
There isn't a lower section replacement available for what you have that would allow it to work with lithium batteries.
You would not need to change your current transfer switch or add an additional one.

Thanks so much for the reply. I will be ordering the pd4045. My concern is accidentally running the generator or shore power when the new inverter is also on. Isn’t that a problem? Please advise.
