The best way so hookup a P3 # 90195 to a Volvo semi is to wire the semi with its own separate 7 blade connector. For that you can use the Tekonsha # 119250KIT and the Universal Install Kit # ETBC7. This will include all of the components needed to wire the 7-way, including all of the necessary wires for the P3 brake controller. The # ETBC7 kit comes with 25' of wire, for a semi you may need additional wire, and for that we sell wire by the foot with part # 10-2-1.
I have linked a few install videos below, as well as some install instructions and a diagram that you may find useful.

I ordered and installed parts suggested. On the Volvo v13 semi 2017 model I get a dash warning— brake malfunction— it goes off after I apply turn signal and apply brake pedal, then it comes on again after a little while. Suggestions?
