Trailer Hitch Receiver and 4-Way Wiring Concerning Parking Sensors 2017 Mercedes GLS450

Question:

I have a 2017 gls450 Mercedes. Im interested in hitch and 2ci harness. I am concerned that the parking sensors will alert with a trailer attached. Since this doesnt add the tow module or coding, do the sensors go off?

Unfortunately Matt, since the ZCI Harness # 119250KIT is not integrated into your 2017 Mercedes GLS450 it would cause the parking sensors to alert you when you have a trailer connected. You can check your owners manual to determine if this feature can easily be switched off or not. Do understand if you carry a hitch mounted accessory in the Receiver # C13190 this will also likely set off the parking sensors as well when you are in reverse.
