How Much Weight Capacity Is Needed for a Triple Axle Trailer with 6k Payload
Question:
I have a 86x 12 flat bed triple axel trailer that I will be hauling a 6,000lb payload what is a safe economical tire to mount on this trailer?

Hey Rob, it really comes down to what tire size you have now and just going with that size in a Load Range that has enough weight capacity for that or if you need to change sizes you can make a slight increase or decrease.
For example the Westlake ST225/75-15 # LHWL304 that you referenced when used on a triple axle trailer would have a weight capacity of 16,980 lbs.
