Will the Yakima LongHaul Bike Rack Fit a Curt 2 Inch Trailer Hitch on a 2011 Toyota RAV4
Question:
This is the site and the brand name for trailer hitch recommended to me, but there's not much mention of 2011 RAV 4s and no video - before I order this, it is the appropriate one for my new 2011 RAV 4, isnt it? Thanks Same as the question that I just submitted for a trailer hitch - will this work with a 2011 RAV 4 - theres no video for 2011, so I want to check before I purchase.

I have included a link to all of the trailer hitches that are designed to fit your 2011 Toyota RAV4. If you do not see a video specifically on a 2011 for a given custom fit product it just means that we have not had the chance to install that particular product on that particular vehicle. Most custom fit products fit a range of model years and even other vehicles.
The most popular hitch for your 2011 RAV4 is Curt hitch # C13149. We do have a video of it on a 2011 and I have linked it and the instructions for you.
Bike racks are not vehicle specific so you can use the Yakima LongHaul rack, # Y02476, on your 2011 RAV4 with a 2 inch trailer hitch like the one mentioned above installed. With that hitch installed there should be approximately 2 inches of clearance between the spare tire and the back of the hitch.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my sons bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
