Hey Gary,

Looking at a few of the options that we offer in that size and load range you'd have roughly 1,700lbs - 2,000lbs of capacity per tire or 6,800lbs - 8,000lbs total. Manufacturers will essentially take the GVWR of the trailer and subtract the tongue weight that will be supported either by the jack or tow vehicle and then divide the remaining load by the number of wheels to determine the correct capacity and will usually leave a little wiggle room because some people will overload their trailers.

If you look at the sidewall of your tires you should see a weight capacity at a certain psi listed so that you can more accurately confirm if what you have will be enough. If you're just looking at swapping out the tires and keeping the current wheels then I recommend the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10234. This has a 1,925lb per tire capacity when at 60psi, giving you 7,700lbs of capacity.
