How to Pick Out the Correct Hitch Ball for a WDS
Question:
What ball mount works with economy sway kit 63660? It requires a special mount that it connects to correct? I do not know what or rise I need but if you can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Mason, I wasn't able to find anything relating to that part number but basically you're going to need to pick a ball that has the correct ball diameter (1 7/8", 2", 2 5/16") for your trailer, and shank diameter (the diameter of the ball hole on your WDS) your WDS needs.
So for instance, if your WDS had a 1 1/4" diameter hole, and your trailer used a 2" ball, then something like the 2" Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems # EQ91-00-6080 would work.
You're also going to want to be conscious of the weight capacity the ball has. You'll just need to pick one that can handle the weight of your trailer. The # EQ91-00-6080 mentioned above has an 8K capacity, so hypothetically if you were to use this you wouldn't be able to tow more than 8,000 lbs with it.
I've also included a FAQ that talks about rise and drop for you to check out as well.
