Where is The Measurement For the Trim Panels On RV Propane Gas Detector # RS64FR Taken?
Question:
My question concerns your length dimension of the two covers for this item. Are your 7 1/4inch and 5 3/4inch lengths based on the outside corner measurements OR the center measurements. I ask because these covers are not rectangular in their length and I need to know how you are calculating this length of the cover. Since its not a square or rectangular cover, what are these measurement based upon?? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The dimensions for the trim plates included with the RV Propane Gas Detector # RS64FR are taken at the longest and widest points of each cover so the larger bracket is 7-1/4" long and 3-3/8" wide at the furthest points. The same for the size of the smaller bracket at 5-3/4" long and 4-1/4" wide.
