Finding The Correct Gen-Y Goosebox For A 2022 Alliance Paradigm 340RL
Question:
I have a 2022 Alliance Paradigm 340RL. I would like to install the new Gen-Y Executive gooseneck hitch on my trailer. When I search on your site it brings up three options. How do I know which one fits. I have seen on Youtube that people have installed the GH-8065 AL on the 340RL. That option does not come up on your site. I also believe the Gen-Y hitch will require spacer plates to attach to the trailer when installing. Can you confirm this? Can you assist me with ing the proper one? Thanks Kenneth

Hey Kenneth, I can definitely point you in the right direction. The Gen-Y goose boxes are not custom fitted, so we do not have a way to recommend the correct size based on just the year, make and model of fifth wheel. The only way to know what size pin box you will need will be to take a look at the current pin box and determine the size. There should be a sticker with a model number and serial number. Usually, we can use this to determine the size. Generally, the pin box size will not be listed on the sticker, but we should be able to determine the correct replacement using the other info on the sticker. Feel free to send me a picture of the sticker if you like.
The GH-8045AL that you mentioned fits the Lippert 1621 pin box which is by far the most common size. If this is what you have, the # GY58GR will be the correct box based on your GVWR, we just need to confirm that your camper is currently equipped with a 1621 pin box.
If no sticker is present, you can also use the guide in the link below to determine your pin box size.
