Can A Bent Fulton Boat Trailer Jack Be Fixed

Question:

The previous owner of a boat I bought last year somehow bent the part of the Fulton jack that the wheel is attached to. It’s a weld-on swivel jack, so I can’t just pop it off and put a new one on. My question – if I was to send you photos of this 1000 pound Fulton jack, do you think you would have a replacement part or a similar jack that I could use parts off of to fix mine?

Hey James,

If the inner tube of the jack is bent then there's unfortunately not going to e a way to fix the jack and you'll have to use an angle grinder to cut off the old jack and replace it. If the wheel is detachable and the inner tube is still ok then we'd be able to just swap out the wheel.

If replacement is the only option then I recommend the Round Swivel Marine Jack w/ Wheel # MJ-1206B. This jack comes with brackets to clamp onto the frame so that you can easily move it around or take it off.
