Is Hydrastar Disc Brake Kit HSE7K-T1 Designed for Grease or Oil Hub Lubrication
Question:
Can this be used with either grease or oil bath? If so do the drums come with threads on the inside so the oil bath caps can screw in? Or do you have to order special kit for that?

The Hydrastar Disc Brake Kit part # HSE7K-T1 is a grease hub setup. It actually doesn't come with grease caps oddly enough so you'd need to go with the part # F001526 as well. Grease is the setup I'd prefer over oil bath. If a grease seal goes bad you'll know before any damage occurs to the hub which allows you to fix it and get back on the road with minimal expense. If an oil seal goes by the time you realize it the bearings and hub are most likely destroyed since the oil drains out quickly and you're left without any lubrication.

Do these come with threads on the inside of the Hubs? I am asking because part HYD27FR states it is for grease or oil application and I would like to get them with a grease set up. Thanks
