Upgrading to Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer on Northwoods Artic Fox 5TH Wheel Camper

Question:

I am preparing to purchase and install the Road Armor system for my Northwoods Artic Fox 5th wheel. I have the heavy duty shackles and wet bolts and bronze bushings in place that came stock on the unit. I read that I need to replace the locking nuts for the wet bolts each time they are removed. Is this true, and if so, do you sell just the nuts? My current equalizer measures 6inch center to center on the spring shackle bolts but the center top bolt to the center of the shackle bolts measure 4 1/8inch to the centers. Will this work on my trailer and will it effect the height of the camper or ground clearance?

You are able to reuse the nuts for your wet bolts. And you are able to use the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 to replace your current equalizers. The minor measurement difference will not cause a noticeable difference in the height of your trailer. I do typically recommend replacing all the wet bolts when you do change out the actuator as it is typically a good time to do so to clean out any dirt and get fresh parts in. Here is a list of the different kits we have depending on the length of the straps you need as if you have an adjustable suspension.

MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 3-1/8" # MR76ZR
