Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible for Use with a Cargo Carrier

Hi I have a 2013 chev camaro convertible. I would like to install a trailer hitchthe less visible the better My idea is to purchase a cargo carrier to carry golf clubs.Please advise which hitch will fit Thank you.

If your 2013 Chevrolet Camaro convertible does not have the ground effects package we do have a trailer hitch for you. Curt offers their 1-1/4-inch Class I hitch # C11222.

With this 200-lb-rated hitch you can use a compatible Class I cargo carrier. All options for such carriers are shown on the link provided.

Please bear in mind that the 200-lb tongue weight rating of the Curt hitch must include the weight of your loaded golf bags plus the weight of the carrier you choose.

For example, the Curt 20x48 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18110 weighs about 30-lbs; this means you could then load golf bags weighing up to about 170-lbs total. This carrier has a nice feature, which is an angled shank that provide 3-3/4-inches of rise to provide better ground clearance.

I suggest you take a look at your Camaro owner's manual just to check for any guidance or limitations on hitch-mounted cargo weight.
