Is There A Maximum Turning Angle For The B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System?
Question:
I have a 2023 Chevy Colorado LT and a 2023 Forest River Alpha Wolf 26 DBH. My question on the BandW Continuum is: What is the maximum turn angle? From videos I have seen, it looks like the rotating assemble under the ball would hit the shank in a turning situation. I just can’t tell how much of a turn angle would cause it to bind. Is this a problem with this hitch? What angle turn can you make with this hitch?

Hey Scott good question. I just spoke with my contact at B&W regarding the B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System # BW53FR. They said that there should be no way the rotating assembly that holds the load bars would hit the shank without the trailer first hitting the truck. This is not an issue that has come up with this system. That said, every truck and trailer combination is different. We do suggest using caution the first time you are turning until you have a better feel for the unit.
