Can the Hydrastar HBA-16 1600PSI work with a boat tandem axle drum brake trailer?

The Hydrastar # HBA16 is designed for disc brakes only. It is not compatible with the drum brakes on your boat trailer. However, they do have a drum brake model. More than likely you need the Hydrastar # HBA-10 which works with drum brakes up to 7,000 lbs. If your trailer brakes are 8,000 lbs or higher then you need the # HBA-12 instead.
