Will Bike Trailer Arm for Thule Cheetah Work with Thule Cadence

Question:

Hi there, Im looking to purchase some Thule Bike Chariots online but am a bit confused and would love some help! We currently have a Thule Cheetah XT but only with the stroller components. We are looking at purchasing a Thule Cadence 2-seater as our family expands, but we are curious if the bike arm that comes with the Cadence will still work with the Cheetah if we only want to take one kid out at a time? Could you clarify that for me please? Thanks

I'd be happy to help, Jessica! I have a growing family of my own so looking at longevity when it comes to things for the littles is definitely something my wife and I are familiar with.

With that being said, the bike trailer kit for your Cheetah XT, part # TH20100506, is a different design than what fits with the Cadence so they unfortunately won't be backwards compatible.

The good news is that even though the Cadence is a 2-Seater, in Green # TH10101802 or Red # TH89HC, you can safely have just 1 kid loaded up in the trailer so you'll be using a larger trailer but it's safe to do so! You might try selling the Cheetah to help offset the cost of the new trailer.
