Replacement Key For Plastic Cover On A Yakima Roof Rack

Im trying to find a replacement key for the plastic cover plate for a Yakima roof rack. Its the cover plate with the keyhole in the upper right hand side. Im hoping that this is a universal key. there is a bar code on the back of the cover plate: 001469079147

I can certainly try to point you in the right direction. Unfortunately, we do not have a way to use the bar code number in order to know what key you will need.

Are you looking for just the plastic key to remove the cover plate from the towers? If so, you can just use a small flathead screwdriver or any standard key. Just insert into the open slot and push the key down and towards you.

If you are looking for a metal key to unlock the lock core, we will need to know the key number in order to recommend the correct key. Usually there will be a 3-digit number on the face of the lock, or on the key itself. If you can provide the 3-digit key number we will be able to get you the right key. For example, the Replacement Key part # Y8873-035 is designed to replace the Yakima key number 035.
