Curt Trailer Hitch # C13392 And # 13432 TW and GTW Capacities
Question:
Looking at a Curt C13392 hitch for my Jeep Wrangler. The description has the TW listed at 500lb tongue weight and the gross weight of 5000 lbs. In the questions on the webpage for the product it is much less 350lb and 3500lbs. Which one is correct? Curt C13432 is list as 400 tongue weight and gross at 4000lbs. If this is not correct it needs to be corrected

Hey Jeff,
I doublechecked the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13392 and # 13432 as they are labeled with their capacities and also reached out to Curt for confirmation. After speaking with Curt we found that their website incorrectly listed the capacities lower than they actually are. They should be fixing this issue and we'll have it properly labeled on our site as well and updated in our answer pages to avoid further confusion.
The # C13392 is rated for 500lbs TW / 5,000lbs GTW
The # 13432 is rated for 350lbs TW / 3,500lbs GTW or 400lbs TW / 4,000lbs GTW when using a weight distribution hitch.
