Recommended Easiest Bike Rack to Install on a Vehicle

Hello. I have a rack I bought from you years ago, for my Toyota Rav 4, 2004. Installing it is labor intensive, and Im wondering if you have an easier install bike rack for either the Rav 4 same one or my other vehicle, 2016 Toyota Prius V. Thanks, William

Welcome back! It looks like you purchased one of the older SportRack 2EZ bike racks from us. The easiest bike rack we have that will work on both your RAV-4 and your 2016 Toyota Prius V is going to be the Thule EasyFold XT item # TH903202. This bike rack fits all 1-1/4" and 2" hitches and uses an AutoAttach system instead of a hitch pin you have to line up. This AutoAttach function is spring loaded and connects to the hitch pin hole automatically as you slide it into the receiver.

The EasyFold XT item # TH903202 weighs only 45 lbs and has wheels built into the base to make moving it from your vehicle to wherever you store it more convenient. It also has a built in ramp that helps with loading and unloading your bikes so you do not have to lift them up and down.

The Thule EasyFold XT item # TH903202 has a 65 lbs weight capacity per bike. It uses padded cradles with ratchet straps to secure your bikes by the downtubes or top tube. This is great for bikes with alternative frames or fenders. It also tilts down to allow you to access your trunk or rear cargo area while the bikes are loaded.
