Is It Possible To Connect A Firepit With 20lb Tank Connection To My RV Propane supply?
Question:
I want to connect a gas fire pit to my quick connect propane on my motorhome. The fire pit has a 10’ hose with connection to a 20lb tank. What do I need to convert and connect to my RV? Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

What kind of fire pit do you have? All of the portable fire pits that we deal with, such as the Ignik FireCan Portable Fire Pit # GN24FR are designed to be used with a propane tank, and will have a hose with its own regulator. If this is what you have, it will not work with the already regulated propane coming from your RV, and there is no way to safely bring the two together. The only option would be to carry a separate propane tank which can be attached directly to the fire pit.
