Can Snow Chains be Used on 2024 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Im in the market for a new vehicle. I currently run chains Front and Back a couple times a year when on logging roads in deep snow. Does the 2023 and 2024 Toyota Tacoma have the clearance for ladder chains not S Class compatible?

Expert Reply:
I pulled up the owners manual of a 2024 Toyota Tacoma and you can use tire chains on the front and rear as long as they are Class S compatible chains that don't require a lot of clearance. Since the tire size of the truck would be 265/70-18 the best traction chains you could get for that size and is Class S compatible would be the Titan chains part # TC2327. I know it's not the news you were looking for so maybe a different truck would be a better option.
