Is this setup compatible with an existing installed amp for a sound system 1000W and LED lights?

The Curt T-Connector # C56214 will bypass all of the vehicles wiring. So any wiring for your sound system or LED lights will not be affected. There is virtually no additional amp draw on the tail light circuits. The T-Connector does require that you run a wire directly to the battery for power, so as long as you do wire it directly to the battery and not to any other power source you will be fine.
