Is Capacity of Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel AM20560 Enough For 4,800 lb Camper Trailer

Question:

Hi, Was trying to find replacement rim for my travel trailer, this one matches closely, cant seem to find one that is exact. Only difference is mine says 2860 lbs and this one says 2830lbs, assuming it will work but want to be sure. I have a 2021 forest river wildwood fsx 178bhsk, its dry weight is only 3700 lbs, and is single axle so assume the weight rating is fine but want to be sure. I attached a picture of the tag on my current rim for reference. Thanks, Tim

Hey Tim, thanks for that info and it's definitely smart just to double check. Good news as well, because you can absolutely use the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20560.

Two of the Dexstar # AM20560 have a combined capacity of 5,660 lbs (2,830 lbs each), which is more than enough for the 4,830 lb GVWR of your 2021 Forest River Wildwood FSX 178BHSK. The GVWR is the total amount your trailer can weigh when loaded, so you have plenty of room to spare even when loaded up.

So you're good to go with this wheel, but I did want to mention that it doesn't come with a valve stem, so you'll also need one with part # AM20906.
